This policy explains what information ChartWyz (“we,” “us”) collects when you use chartwyz.com and the ChartWyz app, and how that information is used. This draft has not yet had a formal legal review — treat it as a placeholder to be finalized before launch.
1. Information We Collect
Account information you provide directly: email address and password (or OAuth identity, if offered).
Usage data: setups viewed, watchlist and alert configuration, and portfolio entries you create inside the app.
Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe directly — ChartWyz does not store full card numbers.
2. How We Use Information
To operate your account, calculate and display setup win rates and portfolio positions, send transactional email (via Resend) such as billing receipts and alerts you configure, and improve the product.
3. Market Data
Price and candle data is sourced from Kraken’s public API. This data is public market information and is not tied to your individual account.
4. Data Storage
Account and portfolio data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Neon). Reasonable technical safeguards are used to protect this data; no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
5. Third Parties
We share data only with the service providers required to operate ChartWyz: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Neon (database hosting), and Kraken (public market data — no personal data shared). We do not sell your data.

You can update or delete your account information from account settings, or by contacting support@chartwyz.com.
